Jennifer Law: For the last 3 months, I've been getting 4 spam (stock quotes, cheap software, junk like that) emails a day.

Jennifer Law: Some to my jennifargh address, most to this jeixxon address
SEL Agent Eleanor: Try emailing this address and see if they have set up an alias on your account
SEL Agent Eleanor: This might be why you are getting all this mail addressed to them
Jennifer Law: Alright, trying now.

Jennifer Law: I Googled the name, and "Jeixxon" is a player on the Phoenix server. He may or may not have registered email under that name.

Jennifer Law: There isn't a block feature in POL, is there?
SEL Agent Eleanor: Yes I believe so
Jennifer Law: The problem is, with spam, they change the addresses, of course.
SEL Agent Eleanor: POl main menu, Extras, POL Plus, email filtering
SEL Agent Eleanor: Go there and you can block this address
Jennifer Law: I can't block the fact that they send it to jeixxon@pol
Jennifer Law: So I should sign up for POL Plus?
Jennifer Law: I can understand if there's nothing you or I can do about it.
SEL Agent Eleanor: Well you should be able to fix it by blocking that person through mail filter
Jennifer Law: Okay, I'll sign up and try it out. If that doesn't work I guess "This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out."

Personally, I don't think blocking "myself" and/or the other 200 million billion spam addresses will work. Oh well, it was a good enough try.
Seriously, I'm getting email that isn't addressed to me, and POL just said "Uur, block it? Urr, pay another $1US a month to block it? It will probably work or not. Please keep playing the game.". Has Dave been spreading the Jack Daniels love over to POL EU?
For those playing at home, these emails began soon before iceshadow.net got hit with spam bots.
But I love the "I've given up" message.
EDIT: Silly me! I don't have to pay for mail filtering. And I can filter by subject! No more "hi jeixxon" mail!
And today, I got a new one, jdonald@pol XD Weird. They won't give up!
