I'm Jenn! A Mithra from Windurst (hiding on the Ramuh server, because we love our big, beardy, zappy man). I'm a common Thief that likes the shiny gils.
I've recently had to take a break from wandering Vana'diel. Eh, technial problems. They're somewhat fixed now, and it's all freshly updated AS I PAW THIS BLOG POST IN!
I can't wait! A little wander around, getting used to being in my Thief boots will be perfect, before I hit the local "Ye Ol' Pub" with my understanding boyfriend, geg.

Is it over yet?
Today is one year since I started playing. And look at my shining achievements from 30 days of ingame time!
Also, I've given up fighting the email spam, and I've used up my email change.
And teaching someone about Sneak Attack + Trick Attack in the mid-40's... not fun XD LEARN HOW TO PLAY MY JOB, DAMNIT!! Kidding... :3
Apparently, big biggie. I spent 30 mins shouting for help, but no reply. Bah. I got fed up with shouting for help, I decided to do it myself.
When I first looked at the mission months ago, I asked some people (I could do this as a level 1, right?). They all agreed that I'm crazy, and that it could be done.
I didn't have a Level 1, so I went for my lowest, Monk, at lvl5. Lvl1, lvl5; it didn't matter. I would be K.O'd instantly either way. Whatever. I subbed Thf as well. I don't get Stealth at this level, but it couldn't hurt.
First try, 30 seconds in... oooh, hello Chigoe... oh, dear... ...? Oh, it hasn't touched me... oh, well, I'll just continue on my merry way... laa dii daaa dii daaah dii- GAH!! *floor*

I ran past a few parties in the area that had to double-take and /check me. Fair enough. I am a psycho after all.
I freaked out a little after losing my way, as I didn't know what would try to attack me or not. Nothing attacked me. I stayed far from the imps once I saw them (all 2 of them >.>) The only things I really worried about were Chigoes. Stealthy bitches.
I finally reached the gate. Sanctuary! And in I go :3
Dropped off the supplies, staging point warped the heck out of there, and went back to Naja feeling cocky and unbeatable!
Then that damn Naja pulled a fast one on me.
AARRRGHHHH!
At least I can do Assaults with the Linkshell now ._.

Personally, I don't think blocking "myself" and/or the other 200 million billion spam addresses will work. Oh well, it was a good enough try.
Seriously, I'm getting email that isn't addressed to me, and POL just said "Uur, block it? Urr, pay another $1US a month to block it? It will probably work or not. Please keep playing the game.". Has Dave been spreading the Jack Daniels love over to POL EU?
For those playing at home, these emails began soon before iceshadow.net got hit with spam bots.
But I love the "I've given up" message.
EDIT: Silly me! I don't have to pay for mail filtering. And I can filter by subject! No more "hi jeixxon" mail!
And today, I got a new one, jdonald@pol XD Weird. They won't give up!
I had a huge clothcrafting party today! Once I hit 50,000g, I went out hunting Thunder Elements in the Marshes. Owch! Barely made it out of there, but I had a few Lightning Clusters to play with. Then I went back to Windy and bought HEEAAAPS of Flax Flowers. Spent over 20,000g, but worth it, I suppose. Then I started weaving linen threads from 14 to 18. Once I ran out, I used the Earth Crystals and other linen threads I saved and went up to 20 on linen Cloth! A stack of linen cloth sells on Windy for 45,000 at the moment, so I'll be getting my money back ;3
80 more levels to go! >,<\
Now that I'm out of those, I'm going to hunt Air Elementals, and get my mule, Sofiya, to send over the Yagudo Feathers I saved up too. I have about 6 stacks of those bloody things, just for this occasion, mwahahhaaaa...
Oh! And guess what Windy got last night?!
We conquered Gustaberg! Ha ha haaaa! Take that, gravel eaters!
I went and did a supplies run straight away :D Go Windurst!
As the title suggests...
- Drinking sea water.
- Licking the beach at Siren Sands.
- Inviting Bogys to join the party at level 12.
- Getting a cancer inducing sunburn.
I could've done all this and more in Valkurm. But I didn't. I chose to camp Valkurm Emperor for that Hairpin every Thief drools over. I arrived just as one person left. The last thing they killed was a Damselfly, so I wasn't sure if they were camping it or not. Oh well. I was camping unopposed! In JP primetime! Things were looking up. Yay! Lets kill placeholders!

I'm going down to Whitebone to drink a few litres of that sea water that all the newbies wee in everytime a Bogy pops ontop of their party. Just to cheer myself up, you know?
After leveling both Beastmaster and Bard from 1 to 7, and Ranger to 10 yesterday, I did some maths. Out of all my jobs, I've collectively earned just under 400,000exp... almost halfway to a level 75! And it's taken me nearly a year (23 days ingame). Once I level Thief to 75, I'm sure leveling up will get easier. I'm almost discouraged by how quickly people can get to 75. The new jobs were a prime example; 75 in under a fortnight?!
Maybe I like daylight too much ;3
Oh well, the maths put things into perspective. I have a huge uphill struggle ahead of me. Hoo boy...
I'm going to give up on RainbowTerror. I thought really hard, but it's not really worth it, nor convenient. Oh well... maybe when I actually have a chance to be on everyday XD Bye RainbowTerror... see you later, I guess.
After hitting 41 (yay!) I went off to get my Marauder's Knife. Such a neat little tool. Can't wait to try it out. For the budding Thieves, it took me 4 steals. Scary place when you train a few Quadav. I'm not looking forward to going back there for my Mission 5 items ><
I'm off to King Ranperre's Tomb tonight to hunt down Spook. I'd love a Traveler's Mantle. After spending a while hunting Valkurm Emperor last night I thought I'd try something a little easier. I also downgraded my Great Gloves to a pair of Battle Gloves. How much more Evasion whoring can I do?
